One of the things that seems to be quite common amongst the small business owners I know are the long hours and especially long hours sat down, in front of a computer (aherm... )
Long hours sat down at the computer, on a regular basis, can lead to any number of health problems from thrombosis to RSI. Personally, I've experienced the odd twinge in my back from extended periods at the keyboard. One of the (many) pieces of advice I got from a physio was to vary my positioning from time to time and I do find that had helped. Although I do try to exercise regularly, I find it can take a lot of forethought to schedule a gym break.
How do you think running a small business affects your health? Has it had any impact at all? What have you done about it if anything?
