Hello all,
I am a new member, Will has kindly mailed me so I am feeling very welcome. I did so want to meet with you all this evening but couldn't sorry, hope to meet on June 21st. Thought I would introduce myself, my name is Gill, currently working for two small (but well established) businesses and starting up on my own. I actually live near Coniston, Cumbria but I am originally from Liverpool and am happy to travel - you can take a girl out of the city..... I need as much information, guidance and help as possible, really interested in other peoples experiences, oh and if anybody has a business which may benefit a start up, please get in touch.

If you're looking for some real-life experiences of starting up in business then you're definitely in good company. As well as members being able to provide services that would benefit most business types it's always good to build up a network (in a un (http://www.businessbricks.co.uk/brick94.shtml)-networking way) of contacts as we've already proved several times over!

Hi Gill, I think we may have spoken previously (apologies if I'm wrong!) - this is a pretty good group as we're constantly looking at ways to help each other, be it answers to business problems, advice on building/promoting businesses and/or referals to other businesses for potential work.

I see you're coming from Coniston, I'm sure your journey won't be wasted - look forward to meeting you at the next meeting!
