Something that Derek or I have got very little knowledge of and would appreciate some advice on where to get some information on how to write a press release (that gets used) and how to send it to the press! Is it allowable to send press releases by e-mail?:confused:

Well, press releases can be a great way to get free publicity for your business. The trick, as you've guessed it is to have a story that people will want to publish. Not only does it need to be newsworthy, but also well written.

There are now plenty of websites that will accept press release submissions. I've listed a few of the main ones below:
