My name's Adrian and after running an I.T consultancy for a few years I'm going on-line and launching a new business soon.
I look forward to learning a bit from like minded people and maybe even helping other people out on the odd occassion.
Good Luck everyone with your business ventures
Hi Adrian and welcome aboard.
What areas of IT do you consult in? A friend of mine was looking at the general office IT consultancy industry as a possible venture so I'd be interested in learning more about how you've got to where you are and where you're headed!

Hi Will, I.T consultancy is indeed a broad church.
My main areas are Manufacturing and Finance - but for some strange reason (I must have some Accountant's genes in me) I have a flair and a bit of a passion for Finance.
Perhaps this is the reason for the move into something I'm trying out now - the emotive world of Secured Loans and personal finance. It's a cut throat industry and I'm a tad scared - but willing to give it a go.
Part of the reason for doing something else is, I want to live closer to where I was brought up and there's not much call for I.T Consultants on the East Lancs/West Yorkshire border - unless of course I can convince some of the Dales sheep farmers to computerise!

If you can do that, see if they want any websites ;)
