We are still waiting for our hospital TV advert to go live, and yesterday managed (eventually) to make contact with the media advertising company involved, who tell us a different story....
Further to our own inquiries, and in particular with the Hospital that our advert is supposed to be appearing in, we have been informed that this company are under investigation, and that they have no contract whatsoever with the Hospital concerned.
We have since contacted the Police and Trading Standards, both in Lancashire (Blackpool) and Liverpool.
Having already paid a deposit and set up a direct debit for further monthly payments, we will be cancelling the direct debit today, if we have not heard from the media company involved. We also intend to get our deposit back and the first monthly payment.
