I heard an advertisement on the radio for a site for business' in the merseyside area.Its called 08 business....refering to the cpital of culture and liverpool's growth.Check it out i might join after ive looked into it more.

Oh I like that site a lot. They send emails (I think you have to opt-in) about relevant business networking opportunities coming up which is useful.
